Saying Hello

Saying Hello

Welcome to our new Box Office Associate & Administrative Asst., Katy Humnick

At the end of June we said our final good-bye’s to Managing Director, Dr. Cole Matson, as he pursues a unique calling to start a religious community that serves and supports the spiritual needs of artists. Dr. Matson has agreed to join our new Advisory Board for Open Window Theatre and will remain connected to us in that way. We are extremely grateful for his friendship and for all of his hard work over the past 12 months as we relaunched the new Open Window Theatre against all odds. We look forward to welcoming him back for some of our Season 7 shows in the coming months. Please join us in praying for Cole as he sets off on an exciting new path. Read Cole’s parting message here.

Hello, Katy!

With Cole’s departure, we are excited to announce the arrival of Katy Humnick, our new Box Office Associate and volunteer Administrative Assistant. Katy is a huge blessing for us and we are so grateful that she stepped forward to offer her help at this crucial time for Open Window Theatre. Katy is the new voice and face behind our box office operations this summer and you can expect to see her around a lot this coming season as well.

Katy is a recent graduate of Wheaton College and their theatre ensemble group, Workout. She earned a B.A. in English Writing with a minor in Theatre and is passionate about telling good stories. Katy adapted, designed and directed her own production, Song of the Unicorn in 2020, and she hopes to continue supporting the theatre from every angle she can.

If you communicate with Katy through the box office this summer or see her at Open Window Theatre this fall, be sure to offer her a warm welcome!
