About LOLEK

A new 3-person play by Jeremy Stanbary

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

LOLEK brings to life the captivating true story of Karol Wojtyla (later Pope St. John Paul II) and his heroic resistance to the Nazi Occupation of Poland during World War II. Out of the depths of one of the darkest moments in human history rose a spiritual leader whose radiant faith, born of tragedy, would change the course of history.

THE SCRUTINIES

by Jeremy Stanbary
Original songs & music by Jeromy Darling

COR Patrons: Reserve your seats now

This newly devised drama explores the traditional Lenten “Scrutiny Gospels” in a highly engaging 3-person ensemble performance infused with live music and songs.

The play depicts the New Testament Biblical stories of the Samaritan Woman at the Well, the Blind Beggar healed at the pool of Siloam, and the story of Lazarus, all set against the backdrop of Old Testament prophesies about the Messiah and his inevitable Passion. This new play by Jeremy Stanbary is interwoven throughout with original songs and music by actor and musician, Jeromy Darling, providing for a highly entertaining and soul-stirring Lenten event suitable for the whole family.

Indefinitely Postponed

TOLKIEN

by Ron Reed

What was to be the U.S. Premiere of TOLKIEN at Open Window Theatre has been indefinitely postponed due to the ongoing challenges and restrictions we face as a result of the Covid pandemic.

We hope to produce TOLKIEN at some point in the future when it is financially feasible for us to do so.

In the meantime, our focus remains on producing smaller cast, original shows that pose less of a financial risk and enable us to have full creative control over licensing and virtual content.

VIRTUAL OPTION: we’re offering a high-quality, immersive 4K pay-per-view streaming option for select performances every weekend during Season 7. While there is no substitute for the live theater experience, we believe a virtual performance option is vitally important this season and we have invested in the time, talent, and equipment to make it worth your entertainment dollars.
