Student Rush Tickets
Students who present a valid student ID at the door for any performance can receive $10 rush tickets within 15 minutes of showtime pending ticket availability.
BOX OFFICE HOURS
Regular Season Hours (September - May): Tuesday - Friday 1:30-5:00pm as well as up to two hours prior to each performance.
Summer Hours: Monday - Thursday 1:30-5:00pm.
SHOW DATES & TIMES
Evening performances (Thursdays - Saturdays) begin at 7:45pm. Sunday matinees begin at 1:30pm. Ticketing and doors open 45 minutes prior to showtime. Additional performances are often added to the December Christmas production calendar, so check the show listing for details. All other productions run Thursdays - Sundays with an additional matinee on the final Saturday. For a full list of performance dates & times, click on the "Buy Tickets" button from our Season 5 page.
See all 4 shows during Season 5 (2015-2016) for only $85 or any 3 shows for just $70 -- a savings of up to 25% off regular ticket prices! Also, season subscribers benefit from preferred seating reservations* in addition to 50% off concessions during Season 5. NOTE: Subscriptions are no longer available for Season 5.
Every Thursday night during our regular season of shows are "Pay-As-You're-Able" (PAYA) nights! Here’s how it works: pre-sale tickets are still available in advance for all Thursday performances at our regular advance discount rates if you wish to guarantee yourself a seat on a Thursday night. But pre-sales will end by 12noon on Thursdays and any remaining, unsold tickets for that performance will be available PAYA at the door ($1 minimum). You are encouraged to call about PAYA ticket availability after 1:00pm on Thursdays by calling: 612-615-1515
STUDENT RUSH TICKETS
Students who present a valid student ID at the door for any performance may receive $10 rush tickets within 15 minutes of showtime pending ticket availability. Rush tickets are not guaranteed and are only available on a first come, first serve basis.
Groups of 10 or more for a single performance will receive an additional 20% DISCOUNT off of our already discounted advance ticket rates. Group sales online will have the discount automatically applied for 10 or more tickets. No additional fees will apply.

We have eliminated all processing fees in 2015-2016 for FEE-FREE ticketing! You're welcome. Enjoy an extra concession or two with all that extra cash burning holes in your pockets.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
All sales are final and refunds will only be issued at the sole discretion of Open Window Theatre. 24 hour cancellation notice is required for a refund request. In most cases we will not offer a refund for cancellations within 24 hours or after the start time of the performance, but in all cases we will do our best to transfer your ticket(s) to another performance of the same play pending your availability and our ticket availability.
All sales are final and patrons are expected to arrive AT LEAST 5 MINUTES prior to the scheduled start time of the performance. Every attempt will be made to seat late arrivals, however it is not guaranteed, nor can we guarantee that if you are seated after the performance has begun that we will seat you in your reserved seat assignment. In the case of a sold-out show we reserve the right to re-sell any vacant seats after the appointed start time of the performance. As a reminder, all sales are final and refunds are at the sole discretion of the management. But we will be happy to transfer your pre-purchased tickets to another performance during the run pending seating availability. For a non-sold out performance, late seating is avoided so as not to disrupt the performance.
SEATING & TICKET VOUCHERS
Seats for all regular season play performances are assigned. If you are using a ticket voucher, please call our box office at least 24 hours in advance of the performance you wish to attend in order to secure your seat(s): 612-615-1515. Season subscribers benefit from preferred reserved seating. Some restrictions apply -- see above for details.
PLEASE NOTE: all patrons must have their tickets scanned prior to entering the theatre.
AGE LIMIT & DISRUPTIONS
Minimum age is 4 years old for most performances (with the exception of our summer children's play) and some shows may have a higher recommended age due to intense or mature subject matter. Open Window Theatre welcomes families to our productions, however, if your child is disruptive during the performance (including talking) we ask you to please be considerate of the performers and other audience members by exiting with him/her/them to the outer main-entry hallway in the Metropolis Minneapolis building. Our house manager will attempt to re-seat you once the disruptive behavior is resolved. Management reserves the right to remove any person(s) causing disruptions in the theater.
Open Window Theatre and the Metropolis Minneapolis building in which we are located are both wheelchair accessible. Please notify us in advance if you or someone in your party will be attending in a wheelchair so that we can make proper seating arrangements ahead of time. Unfortunately, Open Window Theatre does not currently provide ASL or hearing impaired services -- we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
FOOD & DRINK
Beverages and snacks are available at our concession counter and are permitted inside the theatre during a performance. However, please be considerate of others when handling these items as they can create disruptive noises when handled. Low-noise plastic baggies are available to place chips into so as to avoid crinkling bags during the show. Thank you for helping us reduce noise disruptions!
